Last October, my grandson's cousin, Porter, was diagnosed with cancer. He is the reason I am riding this year. Porter is fortunate to be responding well to treatment. He has a loving family and a large circle of friends to support him during his illness. However, he will have to endure chemotherapy on and off for many more months.  I know that the teams of doctors and scientists working for a cure will find one soon.  This is my small part of trying to make that happen faster.
