|$0 My Goal: $1,750.00|
Last year's ride was my first time participating in Pelotonia, and I was blown away. The organization, the scale, and the impact are all amazing. My plan to ride with my wife, in honor of her brother, were derailed by a bike accident in which Katie broke her shoulder. We're back this year, and together plan to ride in memory of Alan. If you supported my ride last year, I want to say thank you, and I hope you'd consider supporting me again. If this is the first time you've considered supporting Pelotonia, remember 100% of every single dollar raised is directed to life-saving cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center-James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute
As with last year, the reason for my ride:
We all know the stories; from acquaintances, to friends and loved ones, cancer is impacting our worlds more and more each day. I’m no different, and the lives of those around me have been impacted by cancer, including friends and family. In 2014, my brother-in-law Alan, was diagnosed with sarcoma, a rare and difficult form of cancer. I remember feeling helpless as I watched my wife and her family navigate the healthcare landscape to get him the best treatment possible and being thankful the James was right in our own backyard. Alan lost his fight with sarcoma in 2015, and I learned how much research meant to those fighting this disease. I would love and appreciate your support in this effort to help raise money for the James.
