|$0 My Goal: $500.00|
|Congrats! Keep going!|
My commitment to riding in Pelotonia is stronger than ever, and 2020 marks my 8th year riding. While this year looks a little different due to Covid-19, cancer doesn't take breaks, even during a pandemic. I was intially riding in support of my Dad, but I will be riding and raising money for both of my parents. Both of my parents have navigated their own cancer journeys respectfully during this pandemic, but we are so very grateful they are both on the road to recovery. I know that cancer will not come to define them, but just be one more piece of their journey. My parents will be married 45 years in August and I know this tenure of marriage has helped them navigate cancer like champions.
My daughter Maeve and I have completed 50 miles so far this summer, and she is thrilled to be able to be apart of Mom's Pelotonia ride this year. We have a goal of riding 100 miles together on the trails by Aug 31.
Please consider donating to my ride, as we embark on 100 miles this year, in support of my parents. 100% of every participant raised dollar goes to cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute.
The unwavering commitment from myself, and the entire Pelotonia community, for #onegoal is fueled by passion, grit, and the will to continue to fund research, trials, and cures for cancer treatment. We can, we will, we must continue this work together. If you would like to learn more about all the work Pelotonia is funding, please visit https://impact.pelotonia.org/
