|$0 My Commitment: $1,500.00|
Family and friends,
This upcoming August 4th, I will be riding in Pelotonia for the fifth consecutive year.
For those of you who are unaware, Pelotonia is a biking event around central Ohio with the goal of ENDING CANCER. Each August, thousands of bike riders, virtual riders, and volunteers from around the world converge on Columbus for Pelotonia weekend. Since being started in 2008, the annual Pelotonia bike ride has raised more than $140 million to fund cancer research at the James Hospital of Ohio State.
I continue to ride in this event because it is inspiring to see how many people come out in support of us as riders. Voluneers and community members line the routes to encourage us. My past experiences make me want to continue to come out and ride this year and for years to come until Pelotonia reaches its goal.
In doing my part to help Pelotonia END CANCER, I have committed to raising $1,500 towards this year's ride. This is where I am asking for help from each and every one of you.
Each of us has a story about cancer. Whether it be your parent, spouse, sibling, or friend, every one of us has been impacted in some way by this horrible disease. As such, it would benefit all of us if we could find a cure. 100% of every dollar raised will go directly to the James Cancer Research Hospital at Ohio State, with the sole purpose of fighting and finding a cure for cancer.
So please, donate and help Pelotonia reach its goal. Every donation, no matter how large or small, makes a difference in helping to END CANCER.
