|$0 My Commitment: $100.00|
To me, the actions committed and completed through Pelotonia are a test of time.
The past. This is to the friends, family, and people who you look up to, admire, respect or simply enjoy the light they bring into the world. This is to those who had cancer and are no longer with us. It’s a personal moment, it’s painful, it can haunt, hurt and torment you. It is a sobering reality that has taken far too many people far before their proper time. End Cancer.
The present. The fighters, the survivors, those who have to battle through the incomprehensible waiting and trying moments that are inclusive of being in the battle with cancer. It’s not always exclusive to the fighter, it weighs heavily surrounding friends and family as an unfair burden to all who shoulder it. To the survivors and current fighters out there, I’ve always esteemed the immortal words of Jim Valvano “Don’t give up, don’t ever give up!” End Cancer.
The future. I have two sons. I want them to grow up in a world where all types of Cancer are treatable and curable. Pelotonia works to fund Cancer Research at the Ohio State University comprehensive cancer center Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solov Research Institute in an one simply said but not simply achieved goal: End Cancer.
