|$0 My Goal: $100.00|
I am participating this year in My Pelotonia for a very special reason. My 11 year old nephew, Dylan, is currently battling cancer. He was diagnosied in May of 2019 with Neuroblastoma, which is a childhood cancer that is found in the small glands on top of the kidneys. It develops in the belly, chest, neck, pelvis and bones. Children ages five or younger are most commonly affected. Dylan's battle has been going on for 15 months now which has included treatments of Chemo and radiantion, stem cell transplants, surgery to remove the tumor, plus other treatments. He is currently in the midst of his immunotheropy treatments. No child should have to endure this.
I'm hoping that my involvement in My Pelotonia will not only help to raise money for more cancer research but to also bring more awareness to childhood cancers. September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month so it would be great to be able to raise the much needed money in Dylan's honor. Let's make September Gold for Childhood Cancer Awareness.
check out #DylansBraveBattle. He's one brave kiddo.
Thanks in advance for your support!
