I'm currently finishing up my last year in Engineering at The Ohio State University. Columbus has been a great place to live the past few years and I may have found a potential future home. My newest interests include triathlons with my family, photography and now cycling. I am lucky enough to have not been affected by cancer, but have lost people close to me to other illnesses and that is why I want to ride.
I want to ride for everybody that inspires me. I want to ride for the man I wish I got to know more, my father. I lost my father when I was 15 years old to a heart attack. I still remember glimpses of him and whenever I'm training or being pushed past my physical limits I think of him as I try to make him proud. Also for my grandfather who past away last summer - more of a man than I'll ever be. Someone I'd be honored to live up to. For the women in my life that are strong, resilient, perseverant, and loving. I also want to do it for myself. I want to be able to say I did it and of course be able to brag to my kids that I rode 100 miles "back in my day".
I want to also ride for all those affected by cancer and their families. I can't even begin to comprehend how tough it must be to go through that. Hopefully with the help of all the riders we can make less families affected.
Please consider help sponsoring me. Giving me only a penny will let me know you believe I can do it!
