Anderson Concrete and Buckeye Ready-Mix will be participating again in this year's Pelotonia to raise money for cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center. Our team is fundraising to honor friends and family members who have been affected by cancer, and we are riding for them!
Three years ago, Anderson Concrete and Buckeye Ready Mix decided to get involved in this great opportunity. We had a wide variety of participation from 50 Mile Riders, Virtual Riders and Volunteers throughout our two companies. In three years, our team has raised over $170,000 and this year we want to raise even more!
Founded in 2008, Pelotonia is a grassroots movement with One Goal to end cancer. Focused on a community of passionate fundraisers and centered around a three-day experience of cycling, entertainment, and volunteerism.
Whether you’ve seen green arrows attached to vehicles or painted on the side of concrete mixers, the Pelotonia logo has become a recognizable symbol throughout Central Ohio. Founded in 2008, Pelotonia was established with One Goal, which is to find a cure for cancer, and 100% of every dollar raised by Pelotonia Riders, Virtual Riders and Volunteers goes directly to fund cancer research at The Ohio State University. Last year over 8,000 participants committed to raise money and bike between 25-180 miles along a route from Columbus to Gambier.
Please join us in raising money for The James, and help us reach ONE GOAL!
