Our ragtag group of higher education professionals and friends has combined to form a super team of cancer-fighting cyclists, all the way from Athens, Georgia. In year four of our peloton, we're each riding 100 to 200 miles over two days in support of this effort.
Each of us rides for their own reasons, but fundamentally, we've all been affected by cancer in some way. While we might not have the ability to step into a lab to conduct research ourselves, we are certain of two things in the fight against cancer: we love the freedom of cycling, and we can count on the support of our families, friends, and colleagues. Our peloton, participating in our third Pelotonia, has raised over $63,000 in our first three years. This year, we've committed to fundraising a collective total of over $27,000, of which every single dollar will go to cancer research. Any donations above our individual fundraising commitments will be shared among our team as we reach our final goal.

We would like to thank our generous sponsors who joined us in 2017 to help us achieve our Pelotonia dreams. Learn all about them here!
